Opening Jam

The opening of Korpo Sea Jazz Festival has always taken place in a certain restaurant in the center of Korpo. The name and the owners of this venue have changed several times but jazz has stayed. But now we do not hear the humming of history when Sibis Jazz Youngsters takes the stage for the opening jamsession. The young artists will later go on jamming together with the other musicians on the festival. It is fascinating to see and hear that jazz as a musical genre captures and inspires young musicians, even though some people may say it is marginal. For us listeners this confirms that there will always be enough with musicians on Korpo Sea Jazz Festival, also in the years to come. Welcome to Korpo, Sibis Jazz Youngsters!
