Timo Lassy Trio

Our new venue, PARATIISI is a fascinating place. In the greenhouse grow the most northern vines in Europe, which are not just for decoration but it is a question of the first and only commercial vineyard in Finland. In the greenhouse there is room for an art exhibition and now also for jazz. Timo Lassy Trio is one of the cornerstones of Finnish jazz. When saxophonist Timo Lassy combines powers with two longtime fellow musicians in a greenhouse, the listener cannot keep cool. The music of the band moves around swinging jazz, deep ballads and improvisations full of rhythmic hooks. The dynamic and organic sound of the Trio brings out Lassy’s easily recognizable melodic expression and strong contact with a live audience.
