Fred Andersson Gospel Duo

If you are able to make quick decisions, it will be possible to combine a boat trip, a visit to the beautiful island of Aspö and a concert to a nice outing on a summer’s day. There is a limited number of seats available for travelers in the charter boat. Naturally it is possible to reach Aspö also by the public liaison vessel or by your own boat. In the concert we will hear simplified instrumental bluesgospel, a musical style developed in the 19th century by the Afro-Americans, this time played with a clarinet and an organ. Fred Andersson has been playing the clarinet in the DDT-Jazzband since 1958 and he is specialized as an interpreter of traditional jazz. Ilkka Joronen is an all-round pianist mastering almost all genres of music. It´ll be a great musical experience!
