Lassy-Lötjönen Duo

This venue is special. A small rocky opening in the forest is surrounded by trees. We have gathered here on many darkening festival evenings. We have wondered, been surprised, become serious and laughed. The Barefootpath and its artworks have given us food for thought in addition to music. This year the saxophonist Timo Lassy and the bass player Antti Lötjönen will offer a rare duo performance in the woods, surrounded by nature. The dialogue between the saxophone and the double bass will create an intimate and meditative atmosphere, where the traditions of jazz meet improvisation, living for a moment. This concert is a unique opportunity to experience the sensitive and deep interplay between two top musicians. When we walk back to the civilization after the concert, we may state that, together with the other listeners, we have experienced something which is never to be repeated. This will unite us together forever!
